Right now, you are the only one telling people about your course or product. The affiliate program lets other people share it too, people you may never have reached on your own. You do not pay them a salary. You do not pay them anything up front. You only pay a share when a real sale happens through their link. If nobody shares it and nobody sells it, it costs you nothing.
You are also always in control. You choose the percentage they earn. You can turn it off at any time. And it never changes the price your buyer pays.

How to turn it on for a course
If you teach on Golearnam, here is where to find it.
Open your course edit.
Look for the affiliate section on the top right hand corner.
Turn on the toggle.
Set the percentage you want to give affiliates.
Confirm.

How to turn it on for a GoStore product
If you sell a product on GoStore, the steps are almost the same, but the screen looks a little different from the course settings screen.
Open your product settings.
Look for the Overview section tab and scroll down.
Turn on the toggle.
Set the percentage you want to give affiliates.
Confirm.
Product enable affiliate
Once it is turned on, your course or product shows up where affiliates can find it. Anyone who joins the program can get a link for it and start sharing it. When someone buys through their link, they earn their share, and you keep selling more than you could on your own.
